Kate's surgery

Kate had her tonsils removed this week.  Doctor said she was a star patient.  

Here she is before surgery at Texas Children's.

 Here we are in recovery.  

She loved to watch the Nurse put her medicine through her IV. 

 and then she slept...

 and slept...if you notice, Woobie also has an IV in her hand just like Katherine.

But when she was awake, she insisted that she be wheeled around in a wagon all over the second and third floors of the hospital.  Everyone knew who she was by then end of our stay.  Happy and smiling, she was talking and saying hi to everyone.

 As Katherine made her hospital rounds, Nicholas lounged in her reclining bed and loved the bed side coloring table.
