Monkey

Every time I am away from the kids for vacation or work, I always come home to some new talent they have discovered.

Kate surprised me yesterday after school with her ability to do the monkey rings!!!

Gymnastics Fall 2013

Nic and Kate started their second year of gymnastics.

They are so excited!

We couldn't get Nic to stop "Skinning the Cat".

Lost Pines

We had a fantastic time at Lost Pines Resort.

It was our second time this year and we already can't wait to go back.

The kids loved the balloon swords (until they popped)

 Picnics on the porch! 

 And we can't forget the S'MORES

 The night movie was Snow White.  

Kate was so excited that she watched her first movie outside on the grass.

Snow White was even there having s'mores with everyone.

I think my best memory of the entire weekend is when Nicholas started talking in his sleep at 2AM and said, 

"No, Snow White don't eat the apple!"

And we can't forget the amazing swimming pools, water slides, and lazy river!

Summer School Lessons?

The things the kids learn in summer school.  

We were eating dinner and all of a sudden, Kate hung her spoon from her nose.

Mr Proper

The kids and I go to Denny's the morning after I come back from a business trip.  

Over the trips, Nic has mastered the proper technique for eating scrambled eggs.

Gooooooooaaaaaal!!!!!

It is soccer season and the kids love to play.

Just keep swimming

Swimming lessons were so much fun!  

After only 2 weeks...

Kate is swimming all by herself!

And because she wouldn't be my daughter without putting something in her mouth

First Recital

When we grow up

When picking the kids up from school last week, the 1st graders had made wall art that said 

"I want to be ______ when I grow up".  

So, to start the twins off on the right foot, we are teaching them to aim for the sky.  

Nic - his ability to see the big picture.  

Katherine - her crazy math skills.  

Dream big and work hard, you will achieve everything you set your mind and heart to.

Katherine has a new hobby...somersaults.  She is great at them too!  Looks like we have a little gymnast in our house.

Alphabet board in action!

At 23 months old, Nicholas has learned all his letters! We can give him a letter and he matches to the board! His favorite letter seems to be "G" right now and loves to point it out everywhere we go. I had some fun with this video. It is sped up and has a song sung by the 3 Stooges.

Dress your self

She is growing up way too fast! She can, and insists on dressing herself.

Every time she gets quicker and quicker...

this morning she got her legs in the arm holes of a shirt before

I even saw what she was doing.

This one was just too cute and give you all a small incite of

best friends playing. They are so aware of each other. When

one is throwing a tantrum or crying for any reason, the other

is sure to bring a cup of water, a woobie (blankie), food, or pat

them on the head/back or somewhere trying to be comforting.

It is the sweetest thing you have ever seen.
