Hula hoop master

I know this is a costume spoiler, but I can't resist to show off Kate's hula hooping talent.
My little allstar :). I'll be sure to get video next time. And wait till you see Nic's new skill...stay tuned (I don't want to spoil it).

New play zone

It's that time of year again. Time to purge the old toys to make room for the new.
The kids are getting older which means toys get both bigger and smaller. To accommodate (i.e. not look at) the big stuff, we moved the couches forward a bit and voila! An instant play place that is ready for new toys.

Jack O' Lanterns

It's Jack O' Lantern time!!!  The kids picked out their pumpkins today and were so excited about carving them...and then it came time to clean out the pumpkin.
I set up the plastic pool, took off their clothes and to my surprise...The kids were completely grossed out!  They wouldn't even touch the seeds.
In the end, the Jack O' Lanterns turned out great.
N for "Nicholas" (or Nest, which is what they kept saying)
K for "Katherine" (or Kick, which is what they kept saying)

Roger Dodger

While it is always fun to see other team's baseball stadiums, nothing compares to Astros (Minute Maid Park).

Kate's first haircut

Ok, so it was more of a trim. 3 yrs old she finally needed a style, and oh how cute! She loved every minute of it.

Pumpkins

The Dallas Arboretum has an amazing pumpkin festival with the
Pumpkin Village displaying four houses decorated with pumpkins, gourds and squash in the theme of Cinderella’s Ballroom, Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother’s tiny house, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Dr. Pompo’s Nose.
