If anyone has seen these wagons...they are not that wide. To see the two of them sharing a seat and loving every minute of it, melts my heart.

Potty Training HELP!
Question to all you more experienced out there....
Now she doesn't want to put her diaper back on. Question to all you more experienced out there...Is she ready for big girl panties? Am I jumping the gun? School is 100% ready to put her in the potty training class, if she is ready...I am afraid of jumping the gun and having pee EVERYWHERE.
What are your experiences?
Anxiety #2: If Kate goes to the Potty Training 2 Year Old Room...Nic has to stay behind until he is ready to start training :(...twin moms out there, tell me I'm crazy and that they can be apart!!!

Living in the City
The city has spoken. It is going to be a very interesting week. Already, I had to slow down/avoid/break for 2 dogs (at different occasions this morning) and a chicken...yes a chicken is running loose in my downtown neighborhood. It brought back some great memories of my chicken family that use to live in our neighborhood a few years ago. They would waddle by my house jump/fly onto my fence, right in the heart of Houston. You gotta love the small things!
I know I have a picture of my chicken family...I believe it is on my other hard drive. If I can find it I will share it tonight.
I couldn't have said it better
I follow a blog about a mom to whom I really relate. She lives in NYC proper, has a very small house, doesn't have a yard for her almost 2 yr old daughter to play, works, travels for work and has a great co-parenting relationship with her husband. She has managed to put into words exactly how I feel about my work and parenting. It is a great short read...

Book Nook
I'm so excited to start transitioning the kids' room from a nursery to a big kid's room! First step is to design their reading book nook. I just ordered some vinyl words for the wall, "Super Heroes and Fairy Tales". Check out this site for some great prices and ideas

The kids have a big bookshelf that contains all of their books, but I am looking for something small that can hang on the wall to hold a few of them.
I'm moved their Pink and Blue chairs that are currently in the living room to the new "Book Nook". I might start looking for bean bag chairs, but I want to get the nook set up with things I have in the house first.
Eventually, I want to put a small table and lamp between the chairs (when they get a little older) and maybe "tent" the reading nook...again, when they get a little older.

So many batteries!
Like most parents with kids, we have obtained every size and shape battery...some rechargeable and some not. We use to have them in a bucket in a drawer. I have discovered that a tackle box is the perfect size for a battery container! It is fully customized and only$5!
Rechargeable on the left, Alkaline on the right and a baggy for "dead" batteries to be recycled! I love even more that it can be latched and stored on its side!!
